DEB!!!! i've been looking for you. i was in austin a couple of weeks ago and couldnt find you. lee said he'd no idea where you were.
any way...i'm coming back to austin for a few days and i'd love to see you. and sarai and her husband and baby.(i guess he's not a baby anymore)
i was fuckin' floored when i saw this website. over the years i've thought back on when my dad and you and lee, cathy and my brother keary and sometimes david and your daughter would go camping at enchanted rock. or when you and lee lived outside of austin on the guadalupe river. my favorite thing about coming to see ya'll was always your paintings. as i've gotten older i've convinced myself that while yes they weere beautiful, it was just the eyes of youth that made them seem so magical. it isnt. your paintings call up a pure and noble desire to understand and be understood that i believe is intrinsic in all people(even if we forget sometimes). it's a beautiful thing. thanks for sharing it with me.
